This time in London, we decided to stay in Mayfair, and the Chesterfield turned out to be an excellent choice. Our room was well-equipped, comfortable and noise-free. In addition to the hotels own accurate description, we also enjoyed the atmosphere of the piano bar where we met some interesting people, mainly international guests. The wine list is quite good and the food well-prepared. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, who take customer service very seriously while at the same time being friendly. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and if you don't like exactly what the menu offers, the staff are flexible enough to serve your own invention. It is important differentiate the experience from the more common buffet format. The hotel is rated "4-star" but in my opinion, it compared well with our previous 5-star hotel experiences.

Excellent value for the location, exemplary service, super friendly staff and classic charming British style. Welcome notes and treats, evening turn down service, and daily tea/coffee/water setup is such a nice touch. Concierges Jake and Loris were brilliant with recommendations. Maina greeted us at the front desk was clearly, comprehensively explained all we’d need to know for checking in. Out front Mustafa and Vitali were engaging and super helpful. On arrival we were too tired to go out so indulged in room service salad and large, delicious club sandwich. We’re informed there’d be a bit of a delay - but we got a knock in just 15 minutes! To economize another evening, my wife and I had an in-room picnic with savory Fortnum & Mason takeout. Loris promptly arrived with plates, cutlery and linen napkins. Chesterfield Mayfair is pure class.

The location was absolutely the best-- close to everything but tucked away in a quiet spot. Tube was 5 minutes away. Shepherds Market with many dining options was 5 minutes away. All the many fabulous Mayfair sites are about 10 minutes away. Buckingham Palace is just a 15 minute walk. Westminster Abbey another 15 minutes past that through gorgeous parks. Hyde Park only a short walk. Harrods also walkable. We will ABSOLUTELY choose The Chesterfield when we return to London. The classy service. amazing king size bed, and British elegance-- complete with well attired footmen-- puts the Chesterfield over the top!

We booked The Chesterfield as a surprise wedding gift to celebrate my daughter’s wedding. From point of booking the communication with the hotel was fast & helpful & they really pulled out all the stops to make their stay memorable, offering a glass of champagne on arrival (& the an amazing non-alcoholic option for my daughter who is expecting), upgraded their room & were incredibly friendly & welcoming. My new son in-law tells me the pillows were amazing & they both say the hash browns with breakfast were the best they’ve tasted.

Location was fabulous—close to parks, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. The staff was friendly and helpful—we always felt that they wanted to please us. In fact, one day we received a small cake in our room to celebrate my son’s March birthday. Another evening we came into our room to find a small box of chocolate to celebrate UK’s Mother’s Day. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean.
